Dr. Dinesh O. Shah is a Professor Emeritus of Chemical Engineering & Anesthesiology; Director Emeritus, Center for Surface Science & Engineering; Founding Director (2008-present) Shah- Schilman Centre for Surface Science and Nanotechnology, Dharmsinh Desai University, Gujarat, India. Honors and Awards: •2011 A road was named “International Scientist Dr. Dinesh O. Shah Road” in his home town, Kapadwanj, Gujarat, India to honor him for his life-long contributions to Education and Research to global community. •2006 William Jones Outstanding Mentor Award, 2006 •2006 Elected as a Fellow by the Institute of Chemical Engineers of USA. •2005 Best Paper of the Year Award from American Oil Chemists’ Society, USA. •1996 Professional Excellence Program (PEP) Award, University of Florida •1993 Pride of India Award, (Swami Narayan Sanstha of USA) •1992 Received Vishwa Gurjari International Award for Outstanding Achievement, India •1992 Florida Blue Key Distinguished Faculty Award, University of Florida

Dr Ajay Singh has done his B Sc & M Sc in Chemistry from Meerut University. He has also done a PG Diploma in Pulp & Paper Technology. He holds a Ph D in Polymer Chemistry. He has taught at Thapar Group of Institutions & Dolphin Institute. He joined Uttaranchal University in 2008 as Assistant Professor & HOD Chemistry and is now Dean & HOD Chemistry at Uttaranchal College of Applied and Life Sciences. Experience- ( Total 22 + years) About 17+ years teaching & 4.5 years Industrial R&D (Thapar R&D) Research Papers- About 100 research publications in reputed indexed National/International journals with more than 45 in scopus/SCI. Patents- 15 Patents filed and published and 5 in pipe line. Awards/Recognitions- 1.Excellence in Researcher Award –Uttarakhand 2021 ,awarded by Shri Puskar Singh Dhami CM of Uttarakhand, on 5th Sept,2021 in UTU Auditorium for patent and research. 2.Best Researcher Award2021 , by Chancellor of Uttaranchal University,Dehradun on 6th Sept,2021 3.Best Research Paper award By Indian Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biological Research in 2018. 4.Rashtriya Gaurav Award, “Global Participation in India’s Economic Development” on 22 Dec 2010 5. Dr. Özkar graduated from Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Technical University of Istanbul in 1972, worked for two years in industry, received Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry at Technical University of Munich in 1976 before joining Middle East Technical University. He spent one year at Max Planck Institute in Mülheim as Scholar of Alexander von Humboldt-Foundation in 1986, two years at University of Toronto as visiting professor in 1988-1990, and a total of 5 years at Colorado State University between 2000 and 2019. He was awarded Science Prize by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey in 1996 and has been a permanent member of Turkish Academy of Sciences since 1996.

Dr. Fahmida Khan received her Ph.D. degree in Chemistry on “Studies on the application of Hydroxamic acids as volumetric reagents” in 1985 from Govt. Engg. College, Pt. Ravishankar University, Raipur.She started her career as a lecturer in the Director Technical Education Bhopal (M.P.) in 1985 then appointed as a Sr. Grade Lecturer in the same institute in 1992. She became a READER in the Director Technical Education in 1996. In 2006 she joined National Institute of Technology, Raipur as a Associate Professor. She has been working as Principal Investigator of Research Project “Oxalaohydroxamic acid is used as a partitioning agent in PUREX process of nuclear fuel reprocessing” by CCOST, Raipur, Chattissgarh.

Abraham (Avi) Marmur is a professor emeritus of chemical engineering at Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. He has worked and published in the field of interfacial phenomena for about forty-five years, has published extensively in this field and related research areas, and has been consulting for major companies. He has also participated in many international conferences and has been active in lecturing in universities and industrial sites in many countries. At Technion, professor Marmur received awards for excellence in research and in teaching. In addition, he was an editor of Reviews in Chemical Engineering, and was on the advisory committee of Journal of Colloid and Interface Science and Journal of Adhesion Science and Technology, Advances in Colloid and Interface Science, and Colloids and surfaces A. In addition, he is on the editorial board of several other profession journals.
